What skill level do you have to be at to attend?

There is no skill level required, the classes are accessible to both novice and accomplished cooks.

What do I need to bring with me?

Only yourself, and a camera if you’d like to take photos. We provide all cooking equipment and ingredients.

Will the chef actually cook with us?

Yes, your chosen chef will spend the entirety of the class with you – from kitchen to the table to enjoy your day’s cooking.

Can I bring my camera?

Yes, photography is not only permitted but encouraged throughout!

What should I wear?

We suggest that you wear comfortable and casual clothes and shoes.

How do I get there?

We are a 5 min walk from Oxford Circus Underground, 10 min walk from Bond Street Underground, 10 min drive from Paddington Street Station and 15 min drive from Waterloo Station. The Langham is situated within the central London Congestion Charge Zone which is in effect between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Provided that we have notice on dietary requirements, ideally at booking, we are happy to cater for all.

What time will we finish?

Our class running times are listed in the course descriptions, however finishing times may vary according to class size and the duration of the dining element.

What if I need to cancel my attendance?

You can cancel or change the name of the attendee on the course. Click here to view our cancellation policy. 

What’s the nearest Tube station?

We are close to a number of Underground stations. We are a 5 min walk from Oxford Circus Underground, 10 min walk from Bond Street Underground, 15 min walk to Great Portland Street Underground, 20 min walk from Tottenham Court Road Underground.

What is the menu for the day?

The menus are chosen by your chef using the best seasonal ingredients and are based on the contents of your course. Please advise us in advance if you have any dietary requirements.

Will I be able to attend if I have a pacemaker?

As some of the hobs in the kitchens are induction hobs and areas immediately surrounding them are electromagnetically charged, any student with a pacemaker should seek medical advice prior to coming on the course. We will unfortunately not be able to accommodate students without written confirmation from a medical practitioner that it is safe to attend.
