What skill level is required to attend a class?
Our classes welcome all skill levels! Whether you’re just starting out or already experienced in the kitchen, our classes are designed to be enjoyable and accessible for all.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself – and a camera if you’d like to capture the experience! All cooking equipment and ingredients will be provided.
Can I take photos during the class?
Yes! Photography is very welcome.
Will the chef be cooking with us?
Absolutely. The chef leading your class will be with you throughout the entire experience, from the kitchen to the dining table.
What should I wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable, casual clothing. Please ensure you wear flat, closed-toe shoes for safety.
How do I get to the venue?
The Langham is centrally located in London, just a 5-minute walk from Oxford Circus Underground. It is also easily accessible from:
• Bond Street (10 minutes)
• Great Portland Street (15 minutes)
• Tottenham Court Road (20 minutes)
Please note: The Langham is within the London Congestion Charge Zone (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm). Onsite parking is limited and must be booked in advance. Nearby parking is available at Q-Park Oxford Street.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, we can cater for dietary needs when notified at least 14 days in advance. However, we operate in a multi-use kitchen and cannot guarantee the absence of allergen traces.
What time will the class finish?
Class timings are listed in the course descriptions. Please allow an additional 30 minutes after the listed end time, as actual finish times may vary depending on the pace of the class.
What if I need to cancel my place?
Cancellations are possible depending on the timeframe and circumstances. Click here to view our cancellation policy.
What’s on the menu for the day?
Menus are created by your chef using the best seasonal ingredients and tailored to your chosen course. Dietary requirements will be taken into account; but please let us know at least 14 days in advance to ensure we can make the necessary arrangements.
Can I attend if I have a pacemaker?
If you have a pacemaker, we recommend seeking medical advice before attending. Please note that our induction hobs and surrounding areas use electromagnetic technology.
Can I bring my children?
Due to health and safety regulations, only registered participants may attend and have access to Sauce’s designated spaces, including Sauce kitchen, The Pantry, and The Conservatory. Children are welcome only if enrolled in a designated children’s class.
How many people can attend a class?
Class sizes are limited to 10 to 12 people to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Each booking admits one person only. Additional guests without a booking will not be permitted.
What happens if my class is cancelled?
If a class is cancelled, you will be notified at least 14 days in advance and offered either a rescheduled class of equal value or a full refund. If you booked with a voucher, the amount will be returned to the original voucher, and the expiry date will remain unchanged.
What if I’ve already booked travel or accommodation?
While we do our best to avoid cancellations, we recommend waiting to book travel or accommodation until you receive confirmation that the class is going ahead. Unfortunately, we are unable to reimburse travel or accommodation costs in the event of a cancellation.
What if my voucher is about to expire and I haven’t booked a class?
Vouchers are valid for 12 months, with most classes running monthly. If you are unable to book due to availability or other valid reasons, we will review the option to extend your voucher at our discretion. Please contact the hotel directly to discuss your options.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we can accommodate wheelchair users. Please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements and provide you with all the information to ensure you have a comfortable and smooth experience.
