Sous Chefs Class – Baking
In this course for 12-16 year olds, students will learn to prepare a wonderful selection of baked goods through demonstrations, tastings, and hands-on cooking. Held during the school holidays on Friday 4th August, this class will boost confidence and equip teens with valuable skills for independence at home and elsewhere. Not only is this class a fun holiday activity, but it also offers an educational experience for all attendees. Before heading off, everyone gathers around the table for a light lunch, the perfect opportunity to compare notes and make new friends.
You will learn:
- An introduction to delicious bread and cake recipes
- The techniques behind making fresh focaccia from scratch
- How to make the perfect cookie dough (with optional mix-ins)
- Recipes for the best sharing and snacking cakes
Included in this course:
- A light seasonal lunch in our beautiful dining room

- The recipe pack from the day
- A Sauce by The Langham apron, cloth and tote bag
Timings: 10:00am – 2:30pm approx.
