Nutrition and Wellbeing Class

From January 2020, Sauce by The Langham will join forces with The Langham, London’s Spa Chuan Body + Soul, to develop a cooking class focused on nutrition and well-being. In partnership with experienced nutritionist Matt Gardner, participants will be given the tools to develop a sustainable nutrition plan that promotes their health, in line with their personal objectives.

Most of us feel the need to improve our lifestyle and eating habits, but it’s far more challenging to make changes that are sustainable and successfully cater to all our nutritional needs. This half-day session has been designed around the principles of move, learn, cook, eat, and thrive, covering the key components of a happy and healthy life.

Move: To start the day, you will have the chance to enjoy the facilities at the Chuan Body + Soul, taking full advantage of the gym and beautiful pool.

Learn: This will then be followed by a simple, yet hugely informative, session by Matt Gardner who will deliver insights into the best ways to support the gut, healthy weight loss and performance, both cognitive and athletic.

Cook: The next session is in the Sauce kitchen where our team will teach you how to make a nutritious smoothie, a delicious and perfectly balanced meal, plus some convenient energy-boosting snacks.

Eat: With your creations in hand, you will head to our lovely dining room to enjoy lunch. This will offer a further opportunity to pick the brains of the professionals’ on all things food and health-related.

Thrive: Equipped with your newly acquired knowledge and skills, you will leave with a specially-designed recipe and nutrition booklet to ensure you can easily pursue your plan in the comfort of your own home.
